Weekly Information
Good Morning,
I hope everyone enjoyed the beautiful weather yesterday. Try to stay warm today! Here are a few updates.
Due to the snow day last week the 100th day of school will now be on Monday, February 3rd. Please send your child with their 100th day poster or wearing their shirt on that day. We will be collecting canned goods (or other non-perishables) all week. Our goal is to reach 100 items by Monday. Thanks you to the many families that helped prepare items for this fun day!
Valentine's Day will be here soon! We will make a large envelope here at school for the students to collect their cards in. Please have your child address one Valentine for each student in their class. You will receive a list soon with each child's "mailbox" number. This way your child does not have to write another student's name on each card. They will simply write the number and who the card is from.
Tomorrow, January 28th, will be Blue's Day. Students are encouraged to dress in their blue and gold.
Thank you!

Writer's Workshop
Our new unit in writing is about "How To" books. The children are very excited to write in this new way. Ask your child what topic they chose for their how to book. Many interesting topics!
